Master user The master user (subscriber) has Administrator rights. The master user can post new shipments, edit a shipment, view shipments, run and create unique online reports, issue or remove unlimited agent and customer user ID’s and passwords, manage who will receive the automatic e-mail notifications, customize their tracking information, attach multiple files to any individual shipment. As a master user you can also allow your agents the ability to post a new shipment into the system for you. Agents Once a master user has provided an agent with a password and user ID, the agent can access, view, edit, and post updates to only their shipments they are involved in. The agent will not have access to any of the master user’s other shipments that do not involve this agent. The agent can also run online reports, send automatically e-mail notifications, and attach and update documents on any individual shipment. An agent can’t post a new shipment of their own unless their master user has given them the ability to post new shipments for them. An agent would be either the origin or destination agent within WCAF Shipment Management system. To take advantage of our automatic uploading of data, an agent would have to upgrade to a master user level (subscriber).
Customer The customer is issued a user ID and password by the master user and then can view their own shipments and run online reports, but is not able to edit their own shipment information or view any other shipments that they are not involved with. A customer can also be the consignee or the shipper within WCAF Shipment Management. Customers may be setup for automatic email notification of status changes to their shipments.
